Elen Roberts
I specialise in claims involving serious injuries, particularly brain injury and clinical negligence. I am very passionate about supporting clients, and their families, when they are going through difficult times.
With over 20 years’ experience in the field of personal injury and clinical I have been involved in a number of high-profile cases including the Thirlwall Inquiry, which examined events at the Countess of Chester Hospital following the convictions of former neonatal nurse Lucy Letby. I was also part of the legal team responsible for securing a landmark ruling by the Court of Appeal in the case of Hadley v Przybylo marking a significant win for claimants, particularly those involved in catastrophic injury claims ensuring that claimant solicitors can recover costs in attending meetings connected with a claimant’s rehabilitation.
Outside of work I have two daughters so have little spare time! Unbelievably, to those who know me well, I do actually enjoy running and have been training for this year’s Copenhagen Half Marathon. It helps to balance out the coffee and cake! I am a run leader for a beginner’s running club based in Erddig, Wrexham which is very rewarding.
