The Association of Personal Injury Lawyers Welcomes 'Transparency and Truth' regarding Whiplash Claims and the Cost of Motoring Insurance
The Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) last week welcomed a shift towards 'transparency and truth' in the outcome of an inquiry into whiplash claims and the cost of motor insurance.
Claimant lawyers are calling for insurance companies to be 'taken to task' to end injured people being blamed for high motor premiums.
The Chief Executive of APIL, Deborah Evans, said "The Transport Select Committee has acknowledged that the Government has, so far, largely been influenced by the insurance industry in its plans to tackle high motor premiums and called for the insurers to get their house in order. I couldn't agree more".
