Mackenzie Jones Solicitors: Celebrating 2 Years In Chester City Centre
In 2023, Mackenzie Jones Solicitors opened a new city centre location to meet demand in the North West with a two-storey office on Grosvenor Street in the heart of Chester. Growth across the portfolio - including our sites in St Asaph and Menai Bridge, led to the business relocating to bigger premises.
We’ve seen a rise in clients across all areas, and with us taking on more staff there was a need for a larger office here in Chester. The change has also allowed us to forge new partnerships and relationships in Cheshire and across the wider region, given our rising profile in the North West, built on the foundations we’ve laid in Wales over the last two decades.
It’s a big year for us with 25 years in business and continued growth and we’re proud to be building a practice that combines specialist expertise with a personable, client-focused approach.

We’ve always had a long-standing commitment to staff development through training, mentorship, and promotion with many of our solicitors beginning their careers at the firm and since progressing to senior roles. And with Mackenzie Jones now employing up to 35 people that trend looks set to continue into 2026.
Holding accreditations including Lexcel, CQS, and Legal 500, we’re seeing increasing demand in areas such as commercial contracts, clinical negligence, and family and private client work.
On the commercial and commercial property sides, the sale and purchase of businesses, as well as conveyancing, clinical negligence, divorce and wills and probate, we have seen an increase in demand and more walk-ins given the busy location. We pride ourselves on providing the same dedication and expertise to clients whether they’re launching a local venture or expanding across the UK. Our commercial team is busier than ever, working with businesses in hospitality, retail, manufacturing, property and beyond.
As a business, we’ve grown and evolved over 25 years, but our values have never changed. We’re proud of our professional achievements, but equally proud of the role we play in our community to support people, encourage ambition, and help others to thrive.
With further growth planned for later this year, the business remains focused on expanding our team and strengthening our presence in the community. It’s been an incredibly busy 2 years and this switch across the city to a fantastic building in a prime location will help us to capitalise on that.
