The Law Society's Quality Conveyancing Scheme

We are proud to have achieved the standards of practice and integrity required to be accredited by the Law Society's Conveyancing Quality Scheme.

What is the Conveyancing Quality Scheme?

The Law Society’s Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS) is a 'kite mark' of excellence in home-buying and selling.

The scheme provides a best practice quality standard for how residential property transactions should be completed.  As members of the Conveyancing Quality Scheme, Mackenzie Jones Solicitors are committed to following that best practice standard to offer the best conveyancing service possible.

What is the benefit of instructing a CQS accredited firm?

The CQS logo is your guarantee that our practice will provide you with a professional service in accordance with the scheme rules.

The CQS accreditation is evidence that we are well connected and trusted within the industry.

Mortgage lenders, insurance companies, solicitor firms and other contacts recognise CQS membership. This makes it much more likely that we can help our clients to obtain insurance covers where appropriate and more likely that mortgage lenders will work with us as one of their preferred solicitors. Without that recognition, a client might find that they have to pay additional fees to use their mortgage lender’s own solicitors, or they could even be denied a mortgage by a particular lender.

What can you expect from your CQS conveyancer?

Under the Conveyancing Quality Scheme you can expect us to:

The scheme requires firms to undergo strict assessments, compulsory training and annual reviews to ensure that the best service possible is provided to clients. We are therefore very proud to meet and maintain the demanding standards of the CQS scheme.
