Conveyancing Solicitors

As a member of the Law Society’s Quality Conveyancing Scheme we have undergone strict assessments that we ensure we maintain, to provide a consistent and excellent service to our customers. We are proven conveyancing solicitors throughout Chester, North Wales and the rest of the UK.

The conveyancing process can be stressful and daunting so we are here to make it as stress free as possible. With a wealth of experience, we help you with the legal process of transferring ownership of property including pre-contract, pre-completion and post completion to ensure the contracts are signed and legally binding.

Whilst we are proud of our young and energetic team, Mackenzie Jones do also have a wealth of experience of over 100 years throughout the firm which provides a fusion of youthful exuberance and experience bringing both legal expertise and pragmatism to the process.

How long does the conveyancing process take?

The conveyancing process can take anything from a couple of weeks where there is no chain and no mortgage finance to a number of months. The range does entirely depend upon the relevant parties ability to proceed which in itself is dependent upon the length of the chain in each particular case; whilst such matters are ultimately outside everybody’s control, we will always do all we can to achieve target dates for exchange and completion wherever we can.

We pride ourselves at Mackenzie Jones on our practical approach to the property buying and selling process. We are incredibly empathetic to the importance of a transaction to you, the client. We are clear and honest and understand the need to be available to communicate with you in an open, transparent way, free from legal jargon which can often jumble the process. We have conveyancing teams in Chester and North Wales offices, but can facilitate conveyancing needs nationwide.

We have also all experienced the process first hand and never see it as just a job; we want to ensure that your experience is as good as it can be in a notoriously stressful time. We are also incredibly transparent in respect of our fees so that there are no hidden extras at the end of the transaction. Whilst not the most expensive, we never profess to be the cheapest either, as we view the buying or selling or refinancing of your property as one of the most important decisions you will make in your life. We therefore recruit a high calibre of lawyers, fully qualified and experienced within this often complex area of law.
